Heart Songs & Circle Songs was launched in October 2018 by Heather Pierson and Rev. Bernice Martin to nurture harmony and community in the world through the offering of original songs for community singing. In song circles, retreats, workshops, concerts, and worship services, Heather and Bernice offer their songs and themselves to churches, schools, homes, community centers, informal gatherings, and hearts around the world, both in person and online.

Heather Pierson is a singer, songwriter, pianist, song leader, and performer who frequently tours throughout the United States both as a solo artist and with her duo and trio. She has released eighteen albums and several singles of her original music, ranging in style from folk to jazz to vocal chants. Heather’s original community singing repertoire is inspired by the power of song to nurture harmony, community, connection, joy, and peace. She lives in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Bernice Martin is a singer-songwriter, community minister, and licensed massage therapist. She was ordained at the First Universalist Church of Norway, Maine in May 2016. Bernice works as an experiential educator with groups and individuals of all ages in a variety of settings. She also facilitates both online and in-person church services across denominations.
